Sullivan, William J. Jr., “Sully” of Roslindale, passed away too soon after a fight with cancer on December 31, 2020. Beloved husband of Mary Kadzis Sullivan and devoted father to Sean, Suzanne, and Laura. Bill’s family was a cornerstone of the Parkway community and includes his sister Pat Barry and her husband Kevin of Middleborough, Clare Sullivan of Dedham, and Kathleen Sullivan of Jamaica Plain. Predeceased by his cherished parents, William Sullivan Sr. and Frances Sullivan, and his sister Barbara Sullivan. Bill loved, and is loved, by his large extended family.Bill built an incredible 36-year career with his FedEx family. His many accolades reflect his leadership and work ethic. More important are the relationships he created as a senior manager. He was a mentor who knew everyone’s name and helped many people while there. At FedEx, Bill spearheaded the charitable giving causes Can Share, Operation Warm Coat, and ACS Daffodil Days. Bill was a superfan of his 3 children throughout life. He coached his two daughters in basketball on the court and in the stands. He travelled near and far to cheer his son on the ice rink and the cross country course. He relished watching them grow and succeed in life. Bill gave his children everything: a loving home, the best education, and life-long memories. Bill was happiest with his family, his wife of 34 years, and his friends. Whether it be on a beach-side vacation or around a backyard fire. His famous nicknames and catch-phrases live on in his loved one’s minds. His unparalleled spirit lives on in our hearts.
