William Griffin Obituary

GRIFFIN, WILLIAM “BILLY” Age 65, of Stoughton, MA formerly of Randolph, MA passed away on Monday, October 3rd 2022 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving mother Beverly Serriello of Easton, and son of the late Edward Griffin of Brockton and Stepson of the late Ralph Serriello, and ex-husband of the late Jan Griffin. He is survived by his children: Traci Segal and her husband John Minihan of Easton, Jonathan Griffin and his partner Barbie Monk of Stoughton. He leaves behind his only Granddaughter Kiley Segal of Easton. Brother of Christine Yates of Nevada, Debra Phillips of Brockton, Karen Griffin of North Carolina, and Kathleen Serriello of New York. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He spent many days with his longtime girlfriend Theresa Brazden of Abington. 

Billy grew up in Randolph. He had lifelong friends from Randolph and met many more over the years working construction. They all had remained good friends until his last days. Billy enjoyed going fishing and camping with his son. Their last fishing trip a few months back was very memorable. Billy also loved gardening. He would spend hours in his garden, planting many kinds of vegetables, most of which were the ingredients to some of his home cooked meals. He loved to cook. He enjoyed spending his last days going out to lunch, and running errands with his mother. His last days in the hospital he was surrounded by his family. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to his Celebration of Life Mass which will take place at Saint Mary's Church in Randolph, MA on N. Main Street, October 22nd at 10:00 am.
