Thomas F. Faulkner passed away on April 7, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving wife and sons. He was born in Stoneham, MA on April 30, 1942, to Francis and Katherine (O’Leary) and spent a happy youth in Revere and Malden. As a young man while working in Hyde Park, he met Beverly Segreve, which began a life-long devoted relationship including 61 years of marriage, the raising of two sons and the joy of 5 grandchildren. For more than 30 years, Tom worked at the MBTA where he met Jack Woods – his best and dearest friend. He enjoyed working part-time at the South Boston Neighborhood House and driving the summer camp bus, where he was a favorite of all. Tom loved any day on the golf course with family and friends, soaking up the sun on the beach and the time he spent with Beverly going out to dinner or trying his luck at Foxwoods, Plainridge or Las Vegas. Tom’s greatest legacy and truest joy are his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than spending endless time with them and hearing about any and all of their accomplishments, no matter how small. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man, a true gentleman and a kind, loyal and generous individual.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly J. (Segreve) and his devoted sons, Mark and his wife Kristine of Newton, and Steven and his wife Mary of West Roxbury. He is the adored Papa of Ryan, Katherine (Kate), Nicholas, Brendan and Kayla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Saturday, April 12 at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington Street, West Roxbury at 11 am. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
