It is with great sadness that Therese K Wheeler passed away August 2nd, 2021 at the West Roxbury VA Hospital. Born Therese Allen on December 30th 1969 to Elizabeth Tucotte Allen and Stewart Allen, she attended Tisbury School and graduated from Martha's Vineyard Regional High School in 1988. She enlisted in the US Army after graduating high school and was stationed in Korea following basic training at Fort McClellan, Alabama. While serving at Camp Casey in Korea, she met and fell in love with fellow serviceman, Charles McEwen Wheeler III. They married in Seoul, Korea on April 6th, 1992 and had three children together. The pair moved back to Massachusetts following their service with the Army. The pair separated in 2004 and she lived the rest of her life in Massachusetts loved by many.

Of her fondest memories, she enjoyed spending time on White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Massachusetts with her children and friends. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children soaking in the sunlight and smelling the beach air on a crisp summer day. While with her children on the beach, she loved to talk with her children about their lives and how she adored every step in their journey going through life. Of her favorite beach activities, she was always overjoyed to find sea glass and seashells on the beach and had quite an extensive collection going at times that she loved to show everyone. Her children loved her very much and she loved them with everything she possibly could. She is survived by two children, Sabrina N Wheeler and Joseph R Wilk, her sister Betsy, her brother Chris, and her mother Elizabeth. She rests with her late son, Charles M. Wheeler IV, her brother Tommy and her father Stewart. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to United Service Organization to help our veterans get the help that they deserve. Private Services are to be arranged on future date by family.
