Terrence T. Regan of Weymouth, Ma. passed away December 16, 2021 after a prolonged period of failing health. Terry was born Aug. 3,1947 in Quincy, Ma. He was brought up and educated in North Quincy. At the age of 18 he enlisted in the Navy and was stationed in Vietnam on the USS Truxtun. Upon returning Terry was employed by Circle Floors for a short time before successfully starting his own business as a carpet contractor .
Terry was the husband of predeceased Rose Marie Regan and the son of the late Lois G. Bryan of Weymouth. He is survived by two loving sons, Christopher and Marc Regan and also his 3 grandchildren, Van, Cody and Valentina who lit up his life. Also survived by his two sisters, Kathy Mitchell and Kristin Regan. And fun uncle to Adrienne, Kyle, Scott, Tiffany and Kali.
Terry had a passion for adventure and travel; immersing himself in the culture of each destination by living for weeks at a time in Thailand, Vietnam ,Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Panama ,Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, Dominique, and St. Lucia. One of his greatest pleasures was to be where he could watch and photograph spectacular sunsets on Cape Cod and Key West. He was a passionate Boston sports fan. He also enjoyed scuba diving and traveling the States in Big Blue. Terry was a free spirit with a strong sense of spirituality which he shared with everyone.
Burial will take place at The Gardens ,670 Baker St., West Roxbury at 2:00PM on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. A celebration of Terry's life will take place in the spring.
