Scott Shaban, 74, passed away on March 29, 2025, in Weymouth, MA. Scott dedicated over three decades of his life to navigating the streets of Boston as a cab driver, initially with ITOA and later with Checker Cab in Boston.
Scott's passions extended beyond his work life. He was an avid photographer, guitar player, and a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Bruins. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for bike riding and camping, activities that brought him much joy and peace.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly (Knott) Shaban of South Boston, MA. and Dymtro Shaban of Wilbraham, MA, He is survived by his brothers, Nirbhao Singh Khalsa of Pecos, New Mexico, Brian and Nicki Shaban of Braintree, MA; and sister, Samantha Shaban of Ware, MA. He also leaves behind his adored nieces, Amrit Sangeet Khalsa of Los Angeles, CA, Kristen Beverly Shaban of Medford, MA; and nephew and his wife, Tyler and Arianna Shaban of Uxbridge, MA.
His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
