Robert Wayne Corbeil, 57, of Malden, passed away on August 24, 2024, at West Roxbury VA Medical Center, surrounded by his friends and family.
Bob is survived by his mother, Deborah Corbeil; three sisters, Donna Perez and husband Frank, Dawn Corbeil Smith and husband Steven, and Robin Holt and husband Anthony; a brother Derek Corbeil; two daughters, Nicole Obrien and Ebony McCloskey; 5 grandchildren, Khloe Conway, Camille Barroner, Cameron Price, Rowan and Jackson McCloskey.
Born in Groton, MA, he is the son of the late Robert L. Corbeil, Jr. and Deborah (Becker) Corbeil. He served in the US Army as a Medical Corpsman. Bob then began his career as a General Manager for U-Haul, where he met many of his closest friends, and was loved and respected by many coworkers and customers. He was an avid Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots fan and always looked forward to riding his motorcycle to Bike Week every year with his friends.
Bob’s memory will forever live on in the memories of those close to him. His impact can be seen by those that respected him and carry on his legacy. Thank you to everyone who was there with Bob for his final memories.
A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday October 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm in The Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
