Broderick, Richard William “Ricky” of Easton, formerly of Roslindale, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2023. Born in Boston on December 3, 1992, the loving son of the late Lauren Marie Broderick. Beloved husband of Nicole (Mount) Broderick. Cherished grandson of Mary Ann (Coraine) Broderick and her late husband Richard F. Broderick, Sr. Dear nephew of Richard F. Broderick, Jr. and his wife Karen of Norwood and the late William Broderick and his surviving wife Dianna (O’Malley) Broderick. Son-in-law of Thomas and Doreen (Gallagher) Mount of Dedham. He is also survived by his many loving cousins Amanda, Sophia, Annalise, Gabrielle, Elizabeth, Kevin, Kate, Thomas and Audrey. He also leaves his Sacred Heart colleagues, students and parents. He was pre-deceased by his dear friend Kyle Humphries.
Richard was a longtime Roslindale resident prior to moving to Easton. He was a graduate of Catholic Memorial, then attended Rhode Island College where he graduated with a history degree in 2015. While at Catholic Memorial Ricky developed a passion for wrestling. During his time wrestling he met his coach Alex Strum who became his lifelong friend. Ricky was currently a 6th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in Roslindale.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
