Richard Uloth “Dick” age 92, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Born on December 23, 1932, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Dick moved to Hanover at a young age and lived a long and fulfilling life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and a passion for working with his hands.
Dick proudly served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment.
A true craftsman at heart, Dick found great joy in working in his garage. Whether fixing or rebuilding something old or making improvements around his home, he approached every project with care and pride. His home stood as a testament to his skill and perseverance, shaped over the years by his own hands.
Dick was known for his warm spirit and generous heart. He had a natural ability to connect with people and was a friend to everyone he met. His kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly J. Uloth (Djerf); his mother, Edith E. Torrey; father, Covert A. Uloth; and sister, Marilyn M. Hollis (Uloth). Though their absence was deeply felt throughout the years, Dick carried their memory with grace and strength.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Richard D. Uloth; granddaughter, Kimberly Uloth; great-granddaughter Aliyah Szymczak; as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him. Dick also leaves behind dear friends who will miss his warmth and good humor.
A Graveside service will be held at a later date.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
