Patricia Parlon was born on December 30, 1945 to John and Emma O’Brien. A lifelong West Roxbury resident, Patricia was the loving sister to Johnny O’Brien and His wife Stacy of Florida and Jean O’Brien of South Carolina, playing the buffer through life as the oldest of the siblings. Patricia was the mother of three boys, John, whom she reunited with on her journey to heaven, James and his wife Jessica of Medway, and Paul of West Roxbury. She was the proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Madison (Heaslip), James, Christina, Matthew and Brooke.
She will always be remembered fondly by her children as the purveyor of the “Worlds Greatest Cubbycakes” and “World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies”, which Dunkin Hines and Toll House may still have issue with.
By her friends, whom she touched on so many levels, she was a room brightener, a good ear, a fantastic advisor and a damn fast typist.
She also leaves behind her second family at Boston College Law School, whom she loved as much as her own.
Visitation will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Tuesday Morning, January 4, from 9:00 to 10:30am.
