Pamela Jane McLeod (Tredwell), 70, of West Roxbury, Massachusetts passed away Monday, January 8th, 2024 after a tough battle with atypical Parkinsonism. Pam was born in Indianapolis, daughter of the late Samuel Tredwell and the late Roberta (Harper) Tredwell. She leaves behind her son Alexander McLeod, daughter-in-law Zenaida McLeod, and granddaughter Mayari McLeod. Beloved friend and roommate to Lori Shaw. Sister to Suzanne Morrison, Roberta Barnett, Michael Tredwell, Samuel “Scott” Tredwell, the late Lawrence Tredwell and the late Thomas Tredwell. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pam was a devoted employee of Massachusetts General Hospital in the radiology department until her retirement in 2019, working per diem until her diagnosis 2021. She was adored by her colleagues, especially her lifelong friend Robin Gubbins, and touched many lives over her years with MGH.
Pam was a renowned baker amongst those who knew her, with a cake for every occasion. She was passionate about all sports from football to golf. She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with friends and family.
Pam was strong and independent raising her son as a single mother, all while getting an education and advancing her career. She could always find humor even in the toughest situations, finding reasons to chuckle even towards the end. Pam was a kind, loving and empathic woman, always willing to be a support to those in need. She touched many lives in her time with us and will be dearly missed.
Visiting hours will be held in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday January 17, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment private.
