Nila Rodriguez

Nila Julia Rodriguez of Medfield passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. Nila was born in 1939 in Havana Cuba. She was a graduate of the University of Havana with a Masters in Accounting and worked as an accountant until 2000 when she emigrated to the US to be with her daughter and grandchildren. She became a US citizen in 2007 and resided in Roslindale where she was known as Dona Nila for her caring support of family, friends, and neighbors, and their children. She moved to Medfield in 2023 to be cared for by her daughter.  Her infant daughter Ana Julia predeceased her in 1967. She is survived by her daughter Amarilys Walsh of Medfield, her grandchildren Patricia Hughes of Medway and Victor Walsh of Medfield, her brother Francisco of Havana, nephew Victor of Houston, niece Vivian of Havana, and great-niece Laura of Odessa.
