Mohammad Rezaei Obituary

In Praise of the Worthy Servant of the Abhá Beauty, Mr. Mohammad Rezaei
We received the news of the heavenly ascension of Mr. Mohammad Rezaei, a radiant beloved and faithful servant of the Threshold of the Abhá Beauty. He was born on Feb 28th, 1937 (Esfand 9, 1315 SH) in Hamadan, with a heart full of faith in divine providence and submission to the will of God. He dedicated his fruitful life to serving the Baha'i community and humanity.
The late Mohammad Rezaei, son of Abbas and Hajeh Khanom, grew up in a large family with three sisters and four brothers. From his adolescence, a spirit of love and self-sacrifice surged within him. In 1964 (1343 SH), he entered matrimony with Ms. Parvin Rezaei. The blessed fruit of this union is four prominent children: Farahnaz, Shahriar, Shiva, and Farid, and nine dear grandchildren, all of whom, under the benevolent Bounties of the Blessed Beauty, are engaged in serving humankind.

The Embodiment of Love and Sacrifice
One of the most prominent moral characteristics of this great man was his spirit of unconditional generosity and sacrifice. His wife often recounted how, during cold winters, he would give his jacket to a needy person on the street and return home without it. This small act reflected his big and loving heart, which he was always seeking to alleviate the suffering of others and attain divine good pleasure. He was an exceedingly compassionate, kind, and well-mannered individual, and his relationships with everyone were forged from the heart. His primary concern was always to bring joy and comfort to his family, especially his dear grandchildren, and being away from them was difficult and painful for him.

Servant of the Community and Helper of the Needy
Mr. Rezaei always loved to help others. For many years, his home in Tehran served as a refuge and sanctuary for relatives and beloved ones who came to Tehran from Hamadan for work, study, or treatment. Without any expectation, he assisted them with guidance and material and emotional support. Many times, he would leave his own work to take patients to hospitals and doctors for treatment, personally following up on their medical affairs.
His sacrifice was not limited to his close acquaintances. When the Baha'i community in Iran needed logistical support for BIHE university students, he immediately volunteered and for years, without any financial expectation, made his home available to Baha'i students and professors. This generous act demonstrated the depth of his faith and dedication to advancing knowledge and serving the children of the Baha'i community.

Eternal Journey to the Realm of the Kingdom
In the last two years, due to an illness, he decided to travel to visit his children and grandchildren in America. Destiny decreed that he would bid farewell to this mortal world and ascend to the realm of the Kingdom while beside his three children and dear grandchildren.
On behalf of all the beloved ones and devotees, I extend my sincere condolences to his devoted wife, Ms. Parvin Rezaei, his children, Farahnaz, Shahriar, Shiva, and Farid, and his dear grandchildren. We sincerely thank all his children, especially Mr. Shahriar Rezaei, who spared no effort in caring for and serving his father during the last days of his life. The reward for all these dear ones is preserved with God.
We supplicate from the Almighty for elevated stations and divine forgiveness for the deceased and strength and peace for the family. We are certain that the noble soul of this departed loved one will find eternal peace under the unending divine bounties and in the vast divine mercy.
