Michael P Ross

Michael Patrick Ross, aged 69, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Boston, MA. Michael was born on June 9, 1955 in Syracuse, NY to the late Thomas and Gloria Ross.  He is survived by his brothers David and Stephen and his sister, Mary, an Uncle, Aunts, a niece, and several cousins.  He was fiercely protective of those closest to him. He kept a watchful eye and a caring heart as he stood guardian, a role he took very seriously.

Michael spent a good portion of his childhood growing up in Boulder, CO, with his siblings.  After he graduated, he began a career in the printing industry.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, skiing, watching football and baseball.  Some of his favorite teams were the Bronco’s, Patriots, Rockies, and Yankees. 

In 2008 he left Colorado and moved to Rhode Island to be with his girlfriend, Doreen Hendricks.  They were together for many years and her family became a second family to him.  They took several trips to Cape Cod, a place he loved from a young age and spent a lot of time with her family enjoying cookouts.  Michael was a simple man, not needing a lot, yet very generous to those he loved.  Michael will be greatly missed by all of those that loved him.
