Michael P. Kunigenas

KUNIGENAS, Michael P, of Newton, MA, formerly of Jamaica Plain. September 6, 2024. Michael was a man of many loves. His family always came first, he loved his cars, cooking and organization. It was what made him happiest. Beloved husband of Marie Kunigenas (Calisi). Devoted father of Dominic and Sabrina. Michael was predeceased by his parents John and Helen Kunigenas.  Loving brother of Joan Saponaro, Betty Lochiatto, Karen Tenaglia, and late John Kunigenas. Also survived by 7 nieces and 4 nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church 1317 Centre St. Newton, on Thursday, September 12, at 10:30am. Visiting hours will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Wednesday, September 11, from 3:00 to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
