Matthew J. Jackson, 35 of Norton, MA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Born in Stoughton, MA on March 10,1988 he was the beloved son of Gary and Kara Jackson, loving brother of Emma Schiffer and her husband Rob Schiffer, Anthony Jackson, Jake Jackson and Bodhi Jackson, and Uncle to Iva and Tate Schiffer. Also survived by his loving wife Stacy and their dog Roxy, who accompanied Matt almost everywhere he went. He was the much loved grandson of Joseph and Marji Memmo, Gary Jackson, Sr. and the late Bette Jackson, nephew to Broc Jackson and the late Joseph Memmo.
Matt for most of his life grew up in Norton. He was a 2006 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational High School, where he studied plumbing. From a young age he was a hard worker and went on to have a successful plumbing business.
Matt had many passions in life, first and foremost was his family. His love and devotion to his family was always present whether it was dropping everything to help a family member, race weekends supporting his brothers or finding the perfect gift to put a smile on someone’s face.
Matt’s adventurous spirit was present in most everything he did. He enjoyed riding and racing his dirtbike, flying his paramotor in Mexico, as well as locally much to the surprise of many local residents. For about 2 years he lived full time with both Stacy and Roxy on his catamaran traveling extensively throughout the Caribbean. During the winter months he enjoyed snowboarding with family and friends.
Matt fit more than most into his too short life. He is missed tremendously by his family and friends, loved forever and will live on in our hearts and memories.
