Mary Ann F. (Mazrimas) Kenneally of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain and Chelsea, passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 84. She was born July 11, 1941 to Joseph and Mary Mazrimas of Chelsea. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis X. Kenneally.
Mary Ann is survived by her two children, Nancy Kenneally and her husband Richard Ferland of New York, NY, and John Kenneally of San Diego, CA. Mary Ann was a loving and very proud grandmother to Megan Ferland of New York, NY.
One of four children, Mary Ann is survived by her older brother Michael and his wife Maureen Mazrimas, and her younger brother Paul and his wife Noreen Mazrimas. She is predeceased by her older brother Joseph and his wife Kathy Mazrimas. Mary Ann was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann maintained many cherished and long-term friendships throughout her life. She was an active member of the community, donating her handmade wreaths and gift baskets as well as her time to help run the Annual Holiday Bazaar for the Poor Clare Nuns of Boston for several years. She loved to spend summers on the Cape in Dennis with her many close friends at Widow’s Walk. In between summers at the Cape, winter trips to Florida and the occasional Caribbean cruise, she worked as a dental receptionist for many, many years, and was loved by countless patients.
She loved to craft and found joy in creating gift baskets, flower arranging and wreath making. Mary Ann loved to gab and always had lots of stories to share. With her warm and friendly personality, she had a natural ability to engage those around her and bring people together. Mary Ann’s energy, warmth and sense of humor will be missed by many family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, March 17, at 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St. West Roxbury at 10:00 am. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday, March 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
