Mario Ernest DiCenzo passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in West Roxbury surrounded by his loved ones. He was 76 years old.
Mario was born and raised in Medway, MA. He his survived by his wife Debbie (Dawson) DiCenzo, and his four children, Michael J. DiCenzo, Cherie Taylor-DiCenzo, his step son Brian Cahill, Jr., Mary DiCenzo and Tami DiCenzo, and their beloved pit bull Jesse.
After his service in the U.S. Navy, Mario owned and managed a package store known as Forester's Market on Boylston Street in Jamaica Plain for many years. A devoted father he would often spend Sundays with his children. Mario enjoyed old country classics like Waylon Jennings and had a soft spot for Pit Bulls.
