It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maribel Duprey, who left this world on March 12, 2025 at the age of 51. A supportive wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend, she was the heart and soul of her family—a grounding force who kept everyone anchored with her wisdom, strength, and boundless love.
Born on September 25, 1973, Maribel dedicated her life to creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. She was the steady presence that her husband and two children could always turn to, offering comfort in difficult times and celebrating every joy, big or small. Her love was a constant and her guidance invaluable.
Beyond her devotion to family, Maribel had a deep love for travel and adventure. She found joy in exploring new places, but nothing brought her more peace than the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The beach was her sanctuary, a place where she could relax, reflect, and embrace the beauty of the world around her. Her heart, however, always belonged to her beloved Puerto Rico. She carried the spirit of her homeland wherever she went, instilling in her family a deep appreciation for its culture, traditions, and vibrant beauty.
Her kindness extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who knew her. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued, a rare gift that made her irreplaceable. Whether through a listening ear, a comforting embrace, or a quiet act of generosity, she reminded us all of the power of love and connection.
Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of love, strength, importance of family and unwavering devotion will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Nate Hinchliffe, and her two adoring children, Joel and Edgar Miranda. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Ana Salas and Isaias Duprey; her cherished siblings, Vivian, Kristina, and Carolina Duprey, and her brother, Francois Duprey. She will be deeply missed by her beloved nieces and nephews, Lennox, Zavien, Camilla, and Ayla, as well as a wide circle of friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025, at Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm where loved ones will gather to honor the incredible woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Foundation for Puerto Rico

Rest peacefully, Maribel. You were our rock, our light, and our greatest gift. May you forever walk along the shores of your beloved Puerto Rico, with the sun on your face and the ocean at your feet.
