In Loving Memory of Marguerite Morency
Also known affectionately as Gogo, Margot, or Goline, Marguerite Morency, age 69, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 19, 1956, in Limbé, Haiti, Marguerite lived a life devoted to service—always putting her children, family, and community before herself. She was a cherished mother, a devoted friend committed, and an active, faithful member of her local church.
Marguerite will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her strength in the face of adversity, and her deep compassion for others. Even during her most challenging times, she remained to lifting those around her. Her warm spirit and selfless heart left lasting impressions on everyone she met.
She survived by her beloved children: Yousemithe (Danny) and Yousenel (Sonya D) Charles. Her treasured grandchildren: Kayvoune(Berlandjie), Kayshana, and Kaylanie Charles, Maliah and Moriah Jeudin. And her precious great-granddaughter: Genesis Charles.
Condolences to her brothers and sisters: Jacques, Jean-Claude, Marie Célimène, Virginie, Jocelyne, Mimose, Rose-Marie, Marie-Denise_Morency.

Leon (his children Diana and Dr. Junie), Leonce (Islande)_Jean Baptiste, Father Midas Milien, Jacques Berto and his wife and kids (Pierre-Richard, Farell, Richette) Volmer Pluviose, Judelene Henry, Pela & Enite, Stefanie Charles.

Marguerite’s legacy of love, generosity, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, at the Hyde Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church, http://www.hydeparksdachurch.org 6 Webster St., Hyde Park. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. The burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Hwy., Roslindale, at 1:00 pm.
