Dunn, Margaret V. (Ginny) of Arlington, formerly of Roslindale, entered into eternal life on August 29, 2021. Born in Boston on February 1, 1926, Ginny was the daughter of Rose (Hener) and James Dunn and sister to the late James Dunn, Jr.
Ginny was a Boston public grade school teacher for 50 years teaching her early years in South Boston and later years in Roxbury at the Rafael Hernandez Bilingual School. She devoted her life to the Catholic Church and community activism which grew to include world activism and missionaries with Cape CARES and DOCS. Ginny’s passion to help under privileged people grew from her belief “if you are open to things-to humanity-you are touched by people’s plight”. Ginny was a light of hope for many people in her life. Ginny will be missed by nephew Joseph P. Dunn, niece Mary Ann Sullivan and her husband Francis X. Sullivan, 8 grand nephews and nieces Francis and wife Elaine, Elise and husband Vivek, Thomas and wife Kasi, Emily, Kylee, James, Brian, Lauren, along with extended family and many friends.

Visiting hours will be private.
Funeral service and interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St. West Roxbury on Friday September 3, at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. www.lawlerfuneralhome.com
