Liam Anthony Tisei Fitzgerald

Liam Anthony Tisei Fitzgerald, a proud lifelong Bostonian, aged 27 years, passed suddenly in a vehicular accident on July 24, 2021. Loving son of Joanne Tisei and Walter Fitzgerald (deceased), and adored brother of Fiona Fitzgerald. Nephew of Maureen Tisei, Virginia Tisei, Kathy and Richard “Dick” Colvario, Ralph and Nancy Tisei, Richard Tisei, Joan Fitzgerald, and Elaine Greene. Cousin of Patrick Colvario (Daisy Dallmeyer), Dennis Colvario, Emily Moscol (Jorge Moscol), Maria Tisei, Elizabeth Tisei (Daniel Roberts), Andrea, Carolyn and Daniel Greene (Becky LaRose), Julie Head (Gregory Head), and their children. Liam will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Liam graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School (’13) and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (’17). He was a naturalist and an avid lover of the outdoors. He interned at the Arnold Arboretum, the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation’s Branching Out Youth Program at the Adams National Historical Park, kept the grounds for the George Wright Golf Course, and recently started working at the Boston Parks and Recreation Urban Wilds Program helping to protect the green spaces of his city. Liam loved rugby, soccer, videogaming, and spending time with his friends and beloved cats Tony and Mario. Liam was a gentle, loyal man of few words who could always make a room explode with his sly sense of humor.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his services. Visiting hours will be held in the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury on Monday, August 2, from 4:00 to 7:00pm. (At the request of the family, please wear a mask for everyone’s safety.) A Private Family Service will be celebrated in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 3, at 10:00am. Private interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
