Kevin Mahoney of 185 Grove St. West Roxbury passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 17th 2024. He is survived by his uncle and aunt, Denis and Priscila Coughlin of Princeton MA and cousins Janet and John Costigan of Quincy, Ellen Costigan of Milton, Nancy Molla of Hanson, Theresa Costigan of Orlando Fla, Jackie Ferguson of Pocasset, Amber Ratts of Lebanon NH. He was preceded in death by his mother Sheila Fennessey and his brother Christopher Mahoney. Kevin was born in Boston and grew up in Quincy, Ma. Kevin was a graduate of Quincy high school. He joined the navy out of high school and was a boatswain’s mate on the USS Constitution. Kevin worked for his uncle Denis as a distributor for Early Bird Distributors. It was during this period that Kevin embraced his passion and talent for music. Kevin played guitar and bass guitar at a professional level in several notable bands from Boston including Bird Mancini. In 2009 Kevin went to work and became a journeyman plumber for Pipelines inc. Kevin was considered a highly regarded team leader in this firm. Calling hours for Kevin will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, October 30th at the Robert J.
