Celebration of Kenneth Caines Life
On the Evening of 06/30/2020 Kenneth Caines was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Kenneth’s journey began in the Twin Islands of Trinidad and Tobago where he was born to his parents Carl and Pearl Caines. Kenneth lived his life to the fullest. He excelled at whatever he put his hands to do. He was a gifted Craftsman who always strived for excellence and hence it was reflected in his quality of work.
He was also a talented basketball player at High School and was lovingly given the nickname “Doc”. He was known to his peers as the Doctor of basketball. Kenneth loved sports and hence he participated in several iron man races, cross harbor swimming and cycling.
He emigrated to the United States in 2002 and made Boston his home. He worked for Dexter Southfield School and became part of the school family who truly cared and loved him. He enjoyed his tenure at the school and as result, his cycle of friends widened. Kenny as he is lovingly called will be missed by his adopted family.
Kenneth was truly a gift from God to his wife, family and friends. His infectious spirit and personality has touched countless lives. He became the brother to the brother less, the father to the fatherless, the counsellor to the hopeless and the lover of humanity. We have lost a Gem.
Kenneth’s Life, Mission and Ministry showed that he served as a True servant of the Lord. Today we can celebrate his life knowing that he has fought the good fight, he has finished the race and kept the faith. (II Timothy 4: 7-8)
Gone but will never be forgotten.
