She was so fortunate to have the support of so many amazing and caring coaches including Ed Ferara, Kevin Murphy, Trisha and Kara Kennedy, George and Matt O'Malley, and Diane Simon.
Karen worked at Life Works for many years where she built lifelong relationships. Karen's passion for life extended far beyond her athletic accomplishments. She had a natural ability to bring people together and make everyone around her feel special. She found joy in the simple pleasures—dancing to her favorite music, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Karen was a caring and thoughtful neighbor and adored her West Roxbury Community.
