Judith A. Ruszkiewicz passed away January 25, 2025, at the age of 88. Judy was the beloved wife of Patrick R. Ruszkiewicz, mother to Cynthia, Robert and Cathryn, proud grandmother (Nana) to Nikolas and Cade Fuentes, Mother-In-Law to Julio Fuentes and loving pet-parent to Pandora the rescue cat.
She was a native and resident of Boston, MA living in Roslindale for the last 60 years. A graduate of Boston Teachers College, she spent many years as a 5th grade teacher at the Ellis Brett School in Brockton before taking over the administration of her husband’s Rebar Detailing and Estimating business which she successfully managed for almost 4 decades.
A voracious reader and lover of music she could always be found reading the latest mystery novel or listening to her collection of classical music. In 1992 Judy discovered her love of travel and spent 30 years happily cruising and vacationing through the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii.
Although Judy is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Boston’s Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Judy’s name. Donations can be made at: https://tinyurl.com/JudyMSPCA
