John "Jack" M Boyle

Boyle, John M. “Jack” of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester Lower Mills, April 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Katherine P. (Keaveny) Boyle. Loving father of Jacqueline, Jillian, and Ryan Boyle all of Braintree. Loving brother of Thomas and his wife Rosemary of Dunstable, Frederick “Teddy” and his wife Jeanne of Braintree, Christopher and his wife Arlene of Braintree. Devoted son of the late Frederick and Nora (Manning) Boyle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Ave. Dorchester on Tuesday April 15, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment private. Visiting hours omitted.

 Jack was a Boston Police Officer for over thirty three years, serving the communities of Roxbury, Mattapan and South Boston with distinction.

A fierce competitor in all sports (C.G. Giants), Jack excelled on the athletic fields of his beloved Walsh Park, and later would star at Don Bosco Technical High School (Class of 1979) playing alongside his many friends both old and new.

Jack returned to school later in life earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees all while raising a young family.

To relax, Jack enjoyed the beaches of Marshfield, especially Humarock. Most of all Jack loved spending his free time with his beautiful family- he will be sorely missed.
