John C Donlon

Norwood – John C.  Donlon Jr. JD 67, of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 14, 2024.

Born in Brockton, the son of the late John C. Donlon and Barbara (Nelson) Donlon. He grew up in Framingham, graduated from Suffolk University, Suffolk Law School and later received his Masters from Boston University.

John loved to travel and enjoyed planning family vacations, listening to music and dancing, spending time golfing on the weekends, and will be remembered for his quick wit and humor, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

John was predeceased by his beloved son Christopher R. Donlon.

John is survived by his loving wife Sheila P. Donlon, cherished daughter Marissa L. Donlon, sisters Kathy Theilacker and husband John of Yachats, OR, Laurie Arseneault of Shrewsbury, brother Kevin Donlon and wife Kimberly of Littleton, his sisters-in law Mary Sheehan and Paul of Milton, Kathy Cassis and Tony of Milton and brother-in-law John Ahern and Mary of Hanover, many nieces and nephews, dear friends Ronald and Mary Reilly of Marshfield and his beloved dog Teddy.

Funeral from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. on Wednesday December 18, at 8:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Holy Name Church at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday December 17, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment Highland Cemetery Norwood.
