BOYLAN, John J."Choppa", (63) of Stoughton, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed unexpectedly, on June 9, 2021.  John was the loving son of the late John and Rita Boylan of Jamaica Plain.  Survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law, Douglas Judge of Easton, Scott Croteau and his wife, Shawnna, of Wrentham, Robert Croteau & his wife, Eileen, of Brighton and his life-long love, Maureen Boylan of Easton. John adored his new grandson, Connor Boylan Judge as well as his grandchildren, Dylan, Teddy, William, Hailey, Sophie, great-grandson, Julian Croteau and his beloved grand-dog, Oreo. He was the brother of Kathleen Enos and Patricia Boylan and the late, Thomas Boylan.  

 

John had a successful career with Yale Electric for the last 30 years and Capitol Electric Supply for 10 years. He was a devout Catholic and was very proud of his Irish heritage.  He loved listening to Irish music, spending time at the beach and traveling.  He was also an avid New England Patriots fan and looked forward to watching football and golf on Sundays. 

 

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 3pm-6pm at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 10:00am.  Interment New Calvary Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made in his name to Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St., Easton, MA 02375.
