Jeanne M (Gaffney) Costello

Jeanne Marie Gaffney Costello – on December 11, 2024, aged 98, of Hingham, MA, formerly of Osterville and Milton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of the late James Patrick Costello for nearly 60 years.  Loving mother of William Costello (Lynn) of Mashpee, James Costello Jr. (Laura) of West Falmouth, Mary Costello of Plymouth, Irene Costello of Hadley, Jeannie Peters (Todd) of Wellesley, Kathryn Costello Makosky (Luke) of Harvard, and Julie Hubbard of Hamilton.  She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband “Jim”, her sister Patricia and her husband Paul McGowan, her sister-in-law Mary and her husband William Gleason.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Osterville, MA immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.
