Jean Allieri, aged 89, of Foxboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, 2025. Born on September 9, 1935, in Boston, Massachusetts, Jean lived a vibrant and fulfilling life marked by love, strength, and an infectious sense of humor.
Raised in Roslindale, Jean later moved to West Roxbury, where she raised her family, before settling in Foxboro. In 1958, she married Raymond “Sonny” Allieri, embarking on a remarkable 67-year love story that inspired all who knew them.
Jean was a fighter, teaching those around her to stand up for themselves and their beliefs. She was a steadfast defender of her family, always ready to support them. She was funny—her quick-witted responses never failed to bring laughter to any gathering. Jean was the life of every party, teasing anyone who was unwilling to stay until the very end.
Above all, Jean was a deeply loving and compassionate person, generously giving her time and care to others. Her warmth was evident in the happiness she showed when seeing her family, her pride in her sons, and her boundless love for her grandchildren. She was the best “Nana” anyone could hope for, leaving a legacy of affection and wonderful memories.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond “Sonny” Allieri; her sons, Ray and his wife Anne, Brian and his husband John, and Charles (Charlie) and his wife Cheryl; and her grandchildren, Raymond, Stephanie, Caroline, Michael, Isabelle, and Jack. She was predeceased by her mother, Mabel (Young) Miele, her father, Charles Miele, and her brother, Charles Miele.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Old Colony Hospice in Bridgewater, Massachusetts www.oldcolonyhospice.org, in Jean’s memory.
