Ioanna (Karalekas) Chanteles

Ioanna Chanteles, 80, passed away on July 27, 2025. Beloved wife to the late Constantine Chanteles, loving mother to Esther Nikolaou and her husband Thanasis, Betty Costa and her husband Ron, Dorothy Arvanitis and her husband Petros, and Alexia Giannakopoulos and her husband Kostadinos. Ioanna was a loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren, Louie and Kostadinos Nikolaou, Alexandra , Cristopher, Maximilian and Luca Costa, Evangelia and Sofia Arvanitis, and Ilias, Ioanna, and Panagiotis Giannakopoulos, and loving great-grandmother to George Canavan.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, at 11:00 AM in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 514 Parker St., Boston, MA 02120. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.  Interment The Gardens at Gethsemane,  West Roxbury.
