Govinda KC, a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts, passed away on February 18th, 2020 at the age of 60. After surviving a battle with cancer, he continued his fight against other health issues, which ultimately took his life. He was a beloved husband to Sabina KC (Shah) for 32 years, a devoted father to Sonu and Saugat, and a dear brother to eight siblings.
Govinda was born in Kathmandu, Nepal on March 4th, 1959 and came to the United States forty years ago. He attended Bhanu Bhakta Memorial School in Nepal and then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and then earned his MBA in Anna Maria College. He was loved by his family and was a pillar of strength that his family and loved ones could rely on.
Govinda was and will always be loved by his dear ones. His achievements in education inspired future generations in his family to pursue higher education. He was a loving husband, caring father, dependable brother, amazing uncle, and much more. We invite all loved ones and those which he helped and nurtured to attend the ceremony that is being held at the Mount Auburn Chapel at 580 Mount Auburn St, Cambridge MA 02138, at 10:00 AM this Friday the 21st.
When entering Mt. Auburn Cemetery please follow the signs to the Bigelow Chapel where funeral services will be held.
