In Loving Memory of Edward F. Thimas
Beloved Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother ,Uncle and Friend
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward F. Thimas, a devoted father, loving grandfather, cherished son, caring uncle, and dear friend.
Edward was the proud father of Sean and Royelle Thimas, and the adoring grandfather to his four beautiful grandchildren, who were among the greatest joys of his life.
He was the beloved son of Jean Gonsalves, and a treasured brother to Steve, Yvonne, Manny, Roy, and Dolores. His family was the heart of his world, and he was a constant source of strength, wisdom, and love to them all.
A man of deep conviction and compassion, Edward dedicated his life to supporting underserved communities across Massachusetts. His work and advocacy, especially through the NA organization, reflected his unwavering belief in community, healing, and second chances.
Edward’s presence was powerful, his kindness unmatched, and his devotion to those he loved was absolute. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and the countless lives he uplifted.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Edward F. Thimas the son, father, grandad, and friend will live forever in our memories and in the love he leaves behind.
