Donald John Joseph McA’Nulty 98 of West Roxbury.
Survived by his daughter Pamela, her wife Megan, their two sons Ryan and Conall, son John, his wife Linda Keohan, their son Robert, and two daughters Sarah and Kate, his sister Margie, and his brother Nyal.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years Carol, his brother James, his sister Bettie, his sister Frances, and his brother Robert.
He was born two months after his parents moved from Ontario, Canada to Boston in 1926. He grew up in the Ashmont section of Dorchester, MA, and graduated from Boston College High School in 1944. He served states-side in the Army Air Corps through 1945. He graduated with a BS from Boston College in 1949, and worked on a PhD in Chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He left MIT and joined his father at the family owned AAA Exterminating Company. He became the owner in 1960. In 1962 he married Carol Gorman and they raised a family in the West Roxbury section of Boston, taking loving care of the house, the yard, and especially his garden. As he edged into retirement, he and Carol travelled extensively, visiting Italy, China(!), Eastern Europe, and many locations in North America. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St John Chrysostom Parish in West Roxbury, or Boston College
