David Ayers Obituary

A devoted father, beloved son, and cherished brother, David Richard Ayers, 45, of Laconia, NH, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. Born on November 16, 1979 in Farmington, CT, David graduated from Avon Old Farms High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, and a Masters degree from the University of Miami in Florida.

David, or Dave as many called him, lived a life full of passion, kindness, and creativity, and was often known as a big kid at heart. He had an unwavering love for music, movies, comedy, and theater, finding joy in every note and performance. He could recite any Marvel movie or line from a Dave Matthews Band song, never shied away from a good costume, and was always happiest when singing karaoke! Dave's own artistry and his appreciation for the arts left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Beyond his creative spirit, Dave was deeply committed to his work as a clinical massage therapist, helping countless clients find relief and healing. His gentle touch and compassionate nature made him not only a skilled practitioner but also a trusted friend to many. His proudest career accomplishment was starting his own massage studio, Let the Healing Begin in Laconia, NH, where he established a comprehensive practice including other massage therapists, yoga instructors, and specialists in the healing arts.

David is survived by his greatest joy and light of his life, his 4-year-old daughter, Charlotte, along with Charlotte's mother, Nicole Ayers of Tilton, NH. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Richard and Suzanne Ayers of Wolfeboro, NH and Venice, FL, his devoted siblings, Ashley Breton (sp. Daniel Breton) of Wells, ME, Jennifer Biliouris (sp. Michael Biliouris) of Medway, MA, Bradford Ayers (sp. Tricia Ayers) of Chichester, NH, and Kelly Dobe (sp. William Dobe) of Londonderry, NH, several nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

David was an organ donor, and after his passing, his donations went on to save 3 lives. Though his time with us was far too short, Dave leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. His warmth and spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held in New Hampshire over the summer of 2025.

Donations may be made in David's name to The New England Donor Services, 60 First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451-1106.
