It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Clare F. Sullivan of Dedham, July 5th, 2025. Clare is the beloved daughter of the late William J. and Frances “Mimi” (Ainsworth) Sullivan of West Roxbury and the beloved sister of Patricia S. Barry and her husband Kevin of Middleboro, Kathleen M. Sullivan of Jamaica Plain, her late sister Barbara Sullivan and late brother, William J. Sullivan Jr and his wife Mary. Clare was a loving and generous aunt to Sean, Suzanne, and Laura, a devoted niece of Barbara (Ainsworth) Whelan, a dear cousin to many.
Clare was kind, loving, and easy to please – she was happiest surrounded by family and friends at holidays, celebrations, and most recently, a family trip to St. John USVA. Clare will also be remembered by her colleagues at the Transplant Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston where she was an administrative associate for an incredible 40-year career. Clare will be deeply missed and remembered always by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 10 at 10 am at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St in West Roxbury. Visiting hours from Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury Wednesday July 9, 4-7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clare’s memory to Make A Wish Foundation.https://wish.org/massri
