Bruce Willcox

Bruce Manning Willcox, an Army Veteran and lifelong resident of the Boston area, passed away on April 10, 2025, in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. He was 76 years old.

Born on March 11, 1949, in Newton, Massachusetts, Mr. Willcox proudly served his Country with distinction, completing two tours in Vietnam. Much of his life he drove a taxi through the streets of Boston — a role he took pride in, and through which he remained deeply connected to the city he called home.

Mr. Willcox was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alexandra, in 2020, and his older brother, Douglas, in December 2024. He is survived by his nephew Nicholas, his sister-in-law Virginia, and his step-nephew Matthew. He will be remembered for his quiet strength and his enduring love for golf, card games, and his family.
