Brian Lawler Obituary

Brian Lawler, a loving brother, son, uncle, and friend passed away Friday October 25, 2024 at the age of 60.

Brian was born in West Roxbury MA to his late parents of Robert and Rita Lawler in which he loved greatly along with his siblings; Irene Todesca, Janet Libby, Robert “Bobby” Lawler, Stephen Lawler, Joseph Lawler and Dianne Lawler. Brian also cherished and adored time with his nieces and nephews Tara, Pam, Albert Jr, EJ, Michael, Bobby, Joe Jr and Ben along with his great nieces and nephews.

Brian worked for the Boston Public School System for 41 years, in which 33 years of that tenure was with the Boston School Police. His nickname while on the police force was “Robo Cop” which fit him well. He loved his job very much, and most especially the students around him.

Brian always thought of others before himself, and always wanted to please others and put a smile on your face. He loved all his friends especially his Patriot Season Ticket Group in which he often went with. He also enjoyed the beach, Cape Cod, and get away trips with family & friends.

His family and friends will miss such a gracious, caring, and giving man who only thought of others. Our family has peace in mind knowing that he has reunited with his beloved parents, two nephews Albert Todesca Jr and Bobby Libby, and other family and friends who proceeded him in death.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the following charity to honor our loved one Brian with a gift that saves lives through providing critical mental health support 24/7, suicide prevention workshops, and grief support services. Donate to Give in Honor or Memory
