Barbara was raised in Boston and was an incredibly gifted student. She studied at UMASS Boston and spent years working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a health educator. She was dedicated and passionate about her work and enjoyed the many years spent working at the lab just down the street from her home in Roslindale.
One of Barbara's favorite pastimes was shopping. You could not keep her away from a Savers, or a TJ Maxx and boy did she enjoy a yard sale. In her later years she took up spiritual healing in the form of Reiki and she had many grateful clientele. She had an affinity for angels and now she is among them. Barbara was a friend to all, and we miss her dearly.
