Annabel C. Aldrich

Annabel Cofran Aldrich was born on 11/7/1922 and died peacefully on 5/9/2023.
She reached the age of 100 ½ years, and was preceded in death by her husband Harold Aldrich
of Lynnfield MA. Annabel had been a resident at Newbridge on the Charles in Dedham MA, for
eight happy years. Born in Medford MA, she studied voice, piano and cello as a child.
She graduated from Bates college in Lewiston, ME in the class of 1943.
Annabel spent most of her life in Lynnfield MA,where she was a member of Centre
Congregational Church and sang in the choir for nearly 50 years. She led a singing group called
the Lynnfield Larks for the Centre Club where she served as president for many terms.
Annabel was also an active participant in the Lynnfield Spotlighters, the local community theater.
She is survived by her daughters Merilee Imamoto ( Allan), Susan Thompson, her son Charles
Thompson ( Janice Danca-Thompson, step daughters Diane Aldrich Van Amburg, and Cindy
Aldrich Cassell, four grandchildren,3 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday May 19, at 3pm at Centre Congregational
Church.
