Ann Raffa, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at the age of 57 in Framingham, Massachusetts. Born to the late John P. and Ann M. Raffa, Annie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was the beloved sister of Kati Osterman (Walter) and John Raffa (Amy). Her role as aunt to Margot Osterman, and Niccolo and Francesca Raffa brought her much joy. Annie also leaves behind her best friend, Amanda Flecca, and her housemates at Salem End.
Ann attended the Crystal Springs School in Assonet and Keefe Technical School in Framingham. She was a long-time employee of Super Stop and Shop in Framingham. Annie loved to travel, wear pretty clothes, help in the kitchen, and watch reruns of her favorite 80s TV show, CHiPs.
For over 30 years, Ann was a loving member of the JRI family. Justice Resource allowed Ann to live with independence, safety, and dignity throughout her adult life. The staff at Annie’s group home has been outstanding over the years but went above and beyond while providing loving care as she declined and while she was in hospice. They were amazing with the love, support, and patience they provided her around the clock. Our family will never be able to thank them adequately for all they have provided to Ann.
Ann’s life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Denis Catholic Church in Westwood on Friday, August 2nd, at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The interment will be private.
