JOHNS, Allowyn “Al” (Schultz) of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was 92. Al was born in 1933 to her parents, the late Herbert and Ruth Schultz. Beloved wife to the late Edward “Johnsie” Johns (Retired BPD). Loving mother to Karen Liljegren and her husband Mark of Walpole, Mary Appleyard and Robert of Norwood, Edward Johns and his wife Dawn of Marblehead, and Susan MacGregor and her husband Robert of West Roxbury. Cherished Nana to Kerri Labrie and her husband Michael of Norwood, Matthew Liljegren and his wife Kate of Brooklyn, NY., Grace and Mae Appleyard of Norwood, Edward and Sophia Johns of Marblehead, and Ginny and Jack MacGregor of West Roxbury. Al was also a proud and loving great grandmother to Lily, Mikey, and Skye. Predeceased by her loving siblings, the late Lt Herbert Schultz (USAF), Walter (Wally) Schultz, Virginia (Ginny) McColgan, and Marion (Manny) Schultz. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Monday morning, July 14th, from 9:30-11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately after at 11:30am at St John Chrysostom Church, in West Roxbury. Interment Saint Joseph’s Cemetery.
