Loving mother of Audrey and her husband, the late Gerald Dennis of Brockton and Rosemarie and her husband, James Gallagher of Lakeville. Cherished grandmother of John and Rachael Gallagher, Dan and Bobbi Jo Dennis, Diana and Matt Manooshian, Jim and Julie Gallagher, Dave and Christy Dennis and Pete and Katie Gallagher. Devoted sister of the late Ann Lehtola, Patrick C., Thomas I., Edward J., Mary A., Mary V. Quercia and John J. Groden. Also survived by eleven adoring great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Winifred was a long time employee with the Boston Public Library. She was an avid reader and loved to travel, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Saturday, April 28, at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation in the funeral home on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
