Hetherman, William. Burial took place Sept. 18 at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury for William J. Hetherman, who passed away Sept. 10 of coronary artery disease age 91. He was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Jamaica Plain and resided there as well as in Brighton until moving to Southern California in 1957. He worked as a railroad maintenance superintendent until retiring in 1985. He was an avid golfer and book reader. He is survived by his widow, Claire, and son, William Jr., both of Fullerton, CA; and another son, Paul, of Santa Rosa, CA.
