William J. Foley, born April 20, 1938, died November 11, 2021. Beloved son of the late George F. Foley and the late Kathleen R. (Breen) Foley. Loving brother of the late George and Robert Foley. Mr. Foley grew up in Dorchester, MA. He attended Boston College High, where he played baseball. He was a graduate of Boston College and received his JD from Suffolk University Law School. Veteran United States Marine Corp. Upon discharge from the Marines, Bill served as an Assistant United States Attorney, Boston Office. Member of the Massachusetts Bar for 40 plus years. Following service as an Assistant US Attorney, Bill was in private practice for 40 plus years. Bill served as an advance man during the presidential campaigns of Robert F. Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy. Bill was an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying the Red Sox. Donations in Bills name can be made to BC High. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 19, at 10:00 am in The Holy Name Lower Church, West Roxbury. Interment with Military Honors New Calvary Cemetery.
