William L. Crowley, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2009 while residing at New England Homes for the Deaf in Danvers, MA. He was born in West Hartford, CT. William graduated from Clarke School for the Deaf in Northampton, MA in 1940. William leaves his beloved wife of 59 years, Beatrice (Meeham) Crowley. Beatrice, who currently lives in Danvers, married William in Rhode Island on September 23, 1950. William enjoyed "tinkering" with cars and owned an impressive number, of which he was very proud. His other hobbies included a love of fishing on the ocean, model making and art. The memorial service for William L. Crowley will be held at New England Homes for the Deaf on Saturday, May 23rd at 2 PM.
