Valerie Williams Parrott passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, December 4, 2019, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.  Born and reared in England, she was a graduate of Oxford University and lived in Boston, Massachusetts, for over fifty years.

Valerie was a member and longtime employee of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. She loved reading, ballet, and musical theater. Early in life she was an avid traveler; later she found joy in meeting and entertaining friends at Boston's Four Seasons Hotel. Friendship was a very special gift to her. Her many friends were her family, and she treasured each and every one.

Valerie will be remembered as a deep-thinking, loving, strong, independent woman. Her friends will miss her dearly.
