Thomas Robert Olafsson, 87, of Wrentham (formerly from Brookline) on February 10th  passed away peacefully at the VA hospital in West Roxbury.  Husband of the late Barbara L. Olafsson (Soley).  Tom leaves behind two sons, Michael of Downingtown PA and Thomas Jr of Brookline,  Michael's wife Kirsten and their daughter Emma.  Tom Jr.'s wife Louise and their daughters Amanda of West Roxbury, Heather of Brookline, Ashley of Newton, Sarah of Brookline, his friend and caregiver Janice Goodman of Wrentham.   Tom was initially a chemist after earning his degree in Chemistry from Tufts University.  He then earned his MBA from Babson College.  He worked for many years in pursuing various endeavors in science and real estate.  He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  Services are private and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Donations may be made to the Veterans Administration Healthcare System.
