Obituary

Thomas A Landry, 69, of Norwood passed away peacefully Tuesday January 9th at his home. Born in Everett, MA on October 13th 1954 he was the son of Alfred J Landry and Irene M Landry (Boudreau), loving brother of Paul and his wife Jane Landry of Marshfield, Ma and Dan and his wife Cat Landry of Roanoke, VA.

Thomas spent most of his childhood years in Sudbury where he Graduated Lincoln-Sudbury High School in 1972. He went on to study at the University of Miami getting his undergraduate degree in 1975 . He graduated Baron de Hersh Meyer School of Law, University of Miami in 1980. He was an honor student being awarded Magnum Cum Laude, Dean's list honors, President's honors, and Degree honors during his college career where he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate.

Tom passed the Bar Exam in Massachusetts, Florida and Hawaii. He practiced Law for his entire life. He passionately and diligently served his clients. He never stopped working to master his abilities as an attorney.

When Tom wasn't helping people professionally he spent much of his time devoted to helping those in his community who struggled from alcoholism and addiction. He spent countless hours helping people recover as a member of a 12 step fellowship.

Tom loved traveling. He was particularly fond of the Hawaiian Islands. The weather, scenery, wild life and history kept him enthralled every time he would vacation there.

Tom enjoyed spending time with friends playing mini golf, board games going to the shooting range, scuba diving, talking politics, cooking and playing music.

Tom was a loyal and devoted friend. He had a brilliant mind and a big heart. One of his sayings rings true to the life he lived. Trust God, clean house, help others.
